Ready for Génomic? conference

Genomics is a promising technology. Its impact is already being felt in many critical areas such as public health and precision medicine. This technology, however, can be a hot button topic that raises a host of issues. Genomics is indeed an innovative science with the potential to change the world as we know it. It brings about major shifts and raises societal questions, which, in many cases, cause concern for the general public. In response to this challenge, Génome Québec is organizing a conference on genomics and social acceptance. The Ready for Genomics? conference, which will be held on March 20, 2019, will provide an opportunity to discuss issues related to the integration of this disruptive technology into the health care system. Experts from the fields of science, media, education, social marketing, change management and health care will be present to share their views and contribute to this important social debate. Don’t miss this chance to voice your opinion along with top experts! Hosted by Stéphan Bureau. Confirmed guest speakers: Professor Pierre Chastenay, Louis Aucoin, Stéphane Mailhiot, Professor Marie-Hélène Jobin and many others!
