Founded in 1983, the Network of Applied Medical Genetics' objective is to support and develop basic and applied human genetic research by creating, managing and promoting scientific infrastructures and knowledge transfer for the benefit of the Quebec population.


The Network supports service platforms, develops Statements of Principles, offers scholarships to students and postdocs, and organizes workshops and meetings.

Fellowships and pilot projects competitions:

Thanks to all who submitted their applications to our Janauary 15, 2016 competitions. The applications are now in the hands of the evaluation committees and we expect to announce the winners in April.



Journées génétiques 2016:

The next edition of the “Journées génétiques” meeting  will be held from June 15-16, 2016 in Montreal. JG2016 will  be held in conjunction  with the "International Congress on Personalized Health Care". For more information and to register, please visit the JG2016 website (http://rmga-jg.ca/home.php). The deadline for early registration and submission of abstracts is April 30th.
